Flooring Wise supplies and fits carpets across Birmingham, from soft wool twists that make a bedroom feel warmer underfoot to tough, stain-resistant piles built for stairs, hallways and rental properties. No sub-contractors, no surprises.
See and feel the samples in our Birmingham showroom, or stay home and we’ll bring them to you with a free measure.
We stock carpets from some of the UK’s best-known manufacturers, including Brintons, Abingdon, Balta, Victoria, Associated Weavers, Lano, Kellars and Cormar. Our range covers:
As a Midlands carpet retailer with strong buying volume across our supplier base, we’re able to pass on cost savings that smaller independents often can’t match.
Yes. Our showroom on Wyrley Road holds full-size carpet displays and sample books so you can see colours and textures properly, not just on a screen. If getting to us is difficult, we’ll bring a selection of samples to your home instead, along with a free measure and no-obligation quote.
We work with homeowners, landlords, letting agents and small businesses across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
We keep every project clear and straightforward from first visit to finished floor.
We visit your property, measure each room accurately and check subfloor condition. You get a written, no-obligation quote.
Browse in our showroom or from samples brought to your home. We'll advise on underlay to match.
Our own in-house carpet fitters carry out the work. We never use sub-contractors, so we're accountable for the finish.
We clear away offcuts and packaging and leave the room ready to use, with care advice included.
A single room typically takes a couple of hours. A full house is usually finished in one day, depending on the number of rooms, whether old flooring needs lifting first, and how much furniture needs moving. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.
Four reasons customers choose us for carpet fitting in Birmingham.
All fitting is carried out by our own team, not sub-contractors, so we take responsibility for the finished job.
See samples in our Birmingham showroom or have them brought to you, whichever suits you better.
Our supplier relationships mean better pricing without cutting corners on quality.
We recommend carpet based on how your household actually uses the room, not just what looks best on display.
Carpet prices vary depending on the fibre (wool costs more than polypropylene), the pile density, room size, underlay, and whether old flooring needs removing first. Because every home is different, we provide a free measure and a detailed written quote rather than a fixed price list, so the figure you get is accurate for your rooms.
Customers tell us time and time again that our personalised end-to-end service and guidance sets us apart from the rest. Come and see Tony in Weymouth or Jerry in our Poundbury showroom and we are sure you will agree.
Flooring Wise specialise in all types of domestic and commercial flooring, including carpet, vinyl, laminate and real wood flooring from leading suppliers Brintons, Alternative Flooring, Kährs, BOEN and Jacaranda Carpets & Rug. Our product range fits all requirements and budgets.
With over 100 years’ combined experience in the industry, we know that choosing the right floor is an important decision and all our customers benefit from our free expert advice.
The right carpet depends on the room and how it's used:
Wool or wool-blend twist for softness and warmth underfoot, where durability matters less than comfort.
A tight twist pile stands up to daily footfall far better than a loop pile, which can snag and unravel on stair nosings.
Wool-blend or hard-wearing polypropylene twist, depending on how much traffic the room gets.
Polypropylene twist or loop pile in a neutral colour. Stain-resistant, budget-friendly and easy to replace between tenancies.
We'll talk you through the right option for your household during your free quote, rather than just pointing you at the most expensive roll.
We believe every home deserves a perfect and unique floor. Karndean offers a wide collection of realistic wood-effect, stone-effect and abstract designs.
You can explore different tones, textures and laying patterns to create a floor that suits your style and the way you use each room. Our team can help you narrow the options using large samples, the design tables, and the Inspire Studio so you can see the result before you order.
Karndean’s ‘view in room’ digital tool lets you see flooring designs in typical room settings or in a photograph of your own home.
